Summary
"American Idol" - Top Ten Results - March 31, 2010
Performance: Ruben Studdard singing "Don't Make 'Em Like You No More" Looks like the "Velvet Teddy Bear" has lost a bit of his fur, slimming down quite a bit. The song is not much but he's still his charming old self. He reveals he's a vegan which is why he's lost so much weight. Ryan calls Big Mike over to compare the two side by side. Turns out Ruben and Clay Aiken are going on tour together.
Ford Commercial: "Kung Fu Fighting." The gang, in kung fu gear, fight one another near non-fighter Casey's Ford.
Results: Katie is in the bottom three so Lee, Casey, Aaron, and Siobhan are safe.
Ryan chats with Justin Bieber in the crowd and says the Lennon/McCartney songbook will be next week's theme.
Performance: "OMG," Usher featuring Will.I.Am. The song is mediocre but it's a typically athletic and fun Usher performance, although, ironically, his vocals are kind of shaky.
Results #2: Didi and Tim are in the bottom three so Michael, Casey, Crystal and Andrew are safe.
Bottom Three: To recap: Tim, Didi, Katie
Katie is immediately sent to safety. (Just like she was last week).
