Summary
"American Idol" - Top 11 Results Show - March 24, 2010
Group Sing: "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go," Wham! It is of course cute and perky although some of the lip-synching is tragic.
Ford Commercial: "Our Time Now." The gang gets a text message saying to meet at the fountain. They all drive there, throw colored balls in it and jump in.
Ryan chats with the contestants before the results. Apparently, last night Casey goofed up during rehearsal and he was freaked out. Siobhan's boss in the audience. He will not shave until she wins. Katie's dad doesn't like to watch the results because he doesn't like to see his kids sad. We see video of Mike carrying around his baby. His wife and baby live in a separate apartment from him during the competition.
Results #1: Tim and Paige are in the bottom three. Lee, Casey, and Siobhan are safe
Performance: "When I Look at You," Miley Cyrus. She sits at the piano and sings an ode to the person who inspires her. Ryan chats with her and she says she liked the contestants the previous night including Tim's knee slide. She thinks the tough love from the judges will help them.
After the break Ryan reminds us that "Idol Gives Back" is coming up April 21.
Results #2: Katie is in the bottom three so Andrew, Crystal, Michael, Didi, and Aaron are safe.
Bottom Three: Tim, Paige, and Katie
Katie is immediately sent back to safety.
Performance: "Make a Wave," Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas
Going Home: Paige Miles (Who Simon says won't be saved even before she sings.)
It seems there's a change-up with the sing out as Paige sings "All Right Now," and in such a way if she'd sung it last night she wouldn't be going home. Sad to see her go.
