Dumped two days before his planned proposal on the day of the Royal Wedding, well-off slacker Ben Caserley sets out to win back his girlfriend - before the wedding bells call time on their relationship.

A Day in the Lifeless focuses on the day's activities of a young 20-something woman that is contemplating suicide. She spends the day conversing with loved ones about the merits of staying alive and the exploration of no longer living.

Wealthy Abhijeet Deshmukh and his four slacker friends, Ranjan, Popat and Mani, after cheating in their exams, get into a gambling debt of fifty thousand Rupees, and end up stealing from Abhijeet's dad's (Mahesh) safe. Mahesh subsequently finds out and asks them to return the money or else he will file a police complaint. A few days later the Police show up in the Deshmukh residence - not to arrest the foursome for Theft - but for allegedly sexually molesting a gorgeous young woman by the name of Nisha.

An asphalt contractor, who has sacrificed his life to make a profit, finds himself in a financial dead-end. The ever gentle-minded road engineer Rauno Kannisto is hired to the construction site, to build a road that cuts through the vast forests by the Russian border. He knows nothing of the financial difficulties. Soon, Rauno finds himself in a situation where he doesn't know which way to turn. The sub-contractor becomes the main contractor, workers are loaded in containers from the other side of the border, and the contractor's wife has a smile that makes you lose your sleep. Middle of the Road is a dark comedy about loyalty and greed.
