Summary In this episode after her 22-year old daughter is savagely murdered by a paroled violent felon, a mother determines to get a law passed requiring first-time violent offenders to serve their entire sentences. Wildlife biologist Jenny Cashman worked and lived at a nature preserve. Unbeknownst to her, her roommate had been drugging and raping her. Prosecutors initially thought she was a drug addict but she fought to make sure her roommate ended up behind bars. When Roy Criner is accused of a murder and found guilty his mother and aunt go on a crusade to prove his innocence.
