Summary A gang of "jumpers" is rampaging in Moscow. They, dressed in white shrouds, jumping on springs, rob passers-by at night. And they do not just rob, but brutally kill their victims. One day they attack the sister of a former Imperial police criminal investigation officer Nikolai Varaksin, who refused to cooperate with the new government.
