A computer genius is confined to a penthouse after a car accident, with only a nurse to look after him. But the advanced computer systems designed to make his life easier appear to be taking control.

The old friends Oscar and Elias are doing their last term in school and they both struggle to find the road ahead and a brighter future. Although brought up in the same rough neighborhood, they have so far applied very different strategies. Oscar is the model student. Elias is caught up in petty crimes. But destiny has another fate for the both of them. Oscar falls madly in love with his attractive teacher Kristina and Elias sets his eyes on the beautiful Muslim girl Zeynep. Lines are crossed and things start to spin out of control.

Follows the life of Jo Donatello, who would like to be a Neapolitan singer like his father but finds himself unwillingly entangled in the bad world of petty crimes, doing dangerous clandestine races supervised by the shady Don Franco.

A retired detective Tony Zarra (Tony Sirico) is pushed into the world of crime after the murder of his younger brother.

Shortly after Swedish police detective Gunnar Barbarotti receives at home an anonymous letter during his holiday announcing the murder of someone named Anna, the bloodily-stabbed corpse of Anna Palme is found. It's the first of a few murders with clues ahead, one naming Gunnar as mark. Barbarotti lists 60 possible vindictive persons from his past. Considering some of them proves dangerous, but probably futile as he stumbles onto twins Kalle and Ole Borg's family intrigue.

Architect Dumas dies from a bullet of his own gun in front of his house. The police suspects his young Swedish wife Catherine and her English lover Tom Hastings. After numerous interrogations, in which they entangle themselves in contradictions, they try to flee, but are soon both caught and brought to trial, he in England, she in France. Only when Catherine keeps on proclaiming her innocence, superintendent Corbier finally considers believing her.
