Summary A trio of inexperienced thieves find themselves in the armed robbery business when they spot a car with the keys still in the ignition. After repainting the car a vivid lilac color, they break into a home and steal two guns, then try to knock over a liquor store. In their hurry to flee the premises, one of the young hoodlums shoots himself in the foot and winds up in the hospital. By working together the Providence Police Department and county police agencies put together a case against the three thugs.
