Summary Nobody believes Frankfurt BKA officer Cuma Ozan that he simply traveled to idyllic Mordach to hike after a body is found. His local colleagues even believe the mysterious stranger to be the murderer of Laura Brunner. Cuma, an undercover investigator, initially remains silent. The young policewoman Toni has little trust in him when the BKA operations manager Helene Brecht takes over the case and puts Ozan in charge of the investigation. Toni finds out that her new partner knew the victim and that the bullet came from his service weapon. The powerful businessman Brunner, who wants to avenge his daughter, has already identified the culprit. Ozan, who actually wanted to take a break to process a failed operation, cannot remember what happened. He feels that he cannot trust anyone.
