S1.E1 ∙ Episode #1.1

An ordinary Joe on a failing first date, must improvise a fantastic fable about the Wild West origins of the California Roll.

After 40 years of her father's estrangement from his hometown in Colombia, the filmmaker goes to visit her distant relatives and deals with issues such as assimilation, internalized racism, and biracialism. It's a personal journey exploring her family's disconnect to a place they left in the past, a place she hopes to make a part of her living present.

Mitchell Dyer has always been a loner. The only two things he has ever been passionate about are his inventions and his autograph collection. He has only one friend, Vance Marlow. One day, while Mitchell is working in his basement, Vance shows up, claiming that he has invented a device, out of a label maker, that can let him travel in time. Vance convinces Mitchell into coming along with him, as they set out on a hilarious and eye opening quest to get the autographs of the four Gospel writers, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Along the way they learn a few things about what is REALLY important in life.

Hector is not very deft, fast or strong but he is eager to please his dad, he is ready for any sacrifice. So he stuns half, but he gets up and looks at me to read pride in my eyes. It will be funny and tender, on the thread of fatherhood and its paradoxes, between protecting and hardening, passing on and releasing.

About a young girl that likes to drink vodka and arm wrestle with her father. Her super confident attitude allows her to train people twice her size.
