Summary Jobless George Maben in his early 40s and living with his 83yr old mum, lucked out when he bumped into a younger woman named Sally outside a Surrey hospital. Love bloomed, and George found himself settling into Sally's mum's large suburban home with all the creature comforts and space he wanted. Sally soon got pregnant. But her mum Maureen got tired of George's laziness asked him to leave. Back living with his 83yr old mum, and determined to get his comfy life with Sally back, George then set a plan in motion which would involve murder, betrayal and unusually for the police, a meticulous investigation that would only succeed by involving divine intervention.
