Summary In summer 2001, 27 year old Bangladeshi immigrant Rais Bhuiyan is working at a gas station in Dallas, where he has come to seek his fortune. Nearby, Mark Stroman is an angry ex-con with racist views who has been drifting from job to job, bragging about robbing small businesses. After the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Mark's anger reaches a boiling point and triggers a violent plot for revenge. In less than 3 days, that plan will bring him to Rais Bhuiyan's door, forcing Rais to fight for his life and the American Dream he so deeply believes in.
