Summary In the backwoods of Louisiana, Jesse James Caston gets in a heated argument with his wife and shoots her. He then goes to the home of his wife's best friend, and shoots her while she's in bed with her boyfriend. The murders set off a bloody rampage that endangers the townspeople of Lake Providence, local police, and eventually, the FBI. Caston is a killer with a hit list... and unless the FBI can find him, the bloodshed will continue.
