Summary A woman dressed as a bride is strangled and killed at the beach. Her corpse is left on the front steps of a church. The dead woman is identified as Mary Rose. Eulália reveals to Cinara that Donato used to be engaged once. Cinara tries to talk to her boyfriend about it, but he refuses. A man goes to the police station claiming to be Mary Rose's killer, surprising the chief of police and detective França. Cinara is surprised with the sudden visit of her niece Lucinha, who's pregnant and was thrown out of her house by her mother. Donato gets information about the wedding dress he saw on a newspaper sale ad, and goes to the sale place.
