Summary Police emergency dispatcher Carla Friedrichs is murdered in the parking lot after a shift. Suspects are her last caller, violent and stalking ex-husband Enno Friedrichs, as well as Vanessa Reim, a former colleague who was dishonorably transferred after Carla reported her failure to follow on what proved a genuine assault fear. The victim's father Matthias Berger feels sabotaged in his complaints against the police, gets even more furious when routinely asked for an alibi, but may have mixed up the dispatchers. The case complicates with a confession and suicide attempt while a security video and Dr. Weissenböck's forensic report correct the fatal events with previous abuse, but the new suspect seems to have a solid story.
