Summary Sheperd Ralf Otto, who suddenly retired from a lucrative life as investment adviser a few years ago, was fatally stabbed at night near his flock, two of the sheep shot with his gun. He was jealous and suspected his notoriously libertine wife Sandra of adultery with Knut Leibold, Ralf's buddy since childhood and Sandra 's ex. Reluctant Dominik and over-eager Teresa go camp as police guards with Ralf's fellow shepherd, Ben Michaelis, who tried in vain to buy the flock from Ralf Otto. Things get even murkier as Ben Michaelis switched shepherding turn with Ralf last-minute, hence may be the intended victim. Indeed goon couple Max and Hertha Wollgast turns up shooting at him, but is arrested and betray who hired them.
