Summary Dan is hired by a former American gangster, now living in London, to guard his lovely daughter because of threats made against her well-being. Dan's job is made more difficult because the father won't talk to the police or allow his daughter to know either about the threats or that he's hired a bodyguard to protect her. After rescuing the young woman from acid-wielding thugs, Dan wonders if the older man really retired from his criminal career as he claims.
