Summary Sarah Desmedt claims to be stripped and raped in a wood by rich businessman Paul Van Steenlandt, who called her a whore while throwing money at her for dating his teenage son Dieter. Detectives Lucas Bataillie and his trainee Simon Knops arrest the suspect who was still showering and confiscate all his cloths; Dieter is furious at Paul and his wife walks away from his protestations of innocence. Lucas immediately believes Van Steenlandt is guilty, his colleague and lover Veerle De Tender -with whom he moves in that evening- thinks Sarah lied and enjoyed it. The next morning, Van Steenlandt is found in a chapel, his skull smashed. Worried mother Desmedt, the real whore according to the widow, reports Dieter and Sarah missing...
