Inspired by the streak of murders committed along Baseline Ave in Arizona during 2006 amd 2007. A vicious serial killer stalks and kills women along Baseline Avenue, a 2-mile stretch in East Phoenix, AZ.

Luke, a young man, gets caught up in the criminal underworld. Pursued by a ruthless gangster boss and his mob, he desperately tries to disentangle himself from the chaos and violence to regain his freedom, risking his life in the process.

Detroit Police Detective, Karoline Kane, discovers a string of missing person cases. Haunted by dreams of a lover who never existed and violent crimes she hasn't committed, she feels something is missing from her life. Things take a turn for the better after going on break and seeking out psychotherapy. Halting the progression her continued nightmares lead to a disturbing realization about the hidden nature of her life.

A family in turmoil returns to the small town where David, the father, had grown up. Their return to the countryside takes them into the middle of generational abuse and Satanic practices only to find help in an unexpected way.

In this true life murder mystery, we know early on "whodunnit" (the butler, actually), but the surprising charm in the story stems from the fact that the lawyer is honest and morally upright. The story of William Marsh Rice and his legacy, Rice University, where much of the film was shot.

The film is conceived as long flashback that highlights the most important moments of her life in the attempt to unveil her mystery.
