Summary A burglar is terrorizing Rabbit Fall and the crime turns personal when Tara wakes in the middle of the night to discover a dark figure in her room. Why would the burglar invade her home and walk off with nothing but her beloved shawl? Tara fears she's losing her grip on what is real and imagined when the dark figure keeps appearing throughout the investigation.
