Summary An old unsolved murder that Inspector Röder had been handling at the time is being reopened. The perpetrator was acquitted at the time. Bukow and König throw themselves into the investigation. After a new DNA test, it is clear: Guido Wachs, who was not convicted at the time, is actually the murderer of the young girl. But once someone has been accused and acquitted, they cannot simply go to court again for the same crime. Bukow and König desperately try to establish the connection between further murders and Guido Wachs in order to put the perpetrator behind bars after all.
