Summary Winemaker Werner Braumüller is found shot dead. Inspectors Schmücke and Schneider suspect the perpetrator in the private environment of the murdered. His widow Margot has a strong motive, but also an alibi. The investigation lead Schmücke and Schneider to Eva Brenner, who was the young mistress of Braumüller. They don't think it can be ruled out that Malte Brenner, who was shortly before his insolvency, could have killed her husband on behalf of Margot Braumüller. But then Malte is found dead and the detectives must go back to field one.
