Summary A suspect behaves irrationally on the stand in Attallah's courtroom and his father convinces Cynthia and Bobby to try and help him. They discover he has a brain tumour that is causing a bizarre syndrome that causes patients to lose any sense of responsibility for their actions. This threatens Attallah's sense of justice and she refuses to let the man free. Before they can go to trial, however, the man walks off a curb and is killed.
