Summary Dr. Franck's client Heiner Kühne, a businessman who's trying to start new activities after big financial problems, is accused of the murder of his former partner Regelski, who ruined him. Kühne was in Regelski's office in the night of the murder and stole money and papers from his safe: despite admitting the robbery, he pleads not guilty for the killing. Kühnes repeated lies make the investigation difficult for Frank and Matula, who meanwhile discovers that Regelski's bodyguard is a buddy of him and has got a relationship with Mrs. Rigelski.
