Summary On October 5, 1996, a college student at Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming, Berry Alexis Bryant, age 18, leaves a dorm party and gets a ride from the wrong classmate, vanishing into the night. An investigation by law enforcement led the police to Berry's body about 16 miles outside of Powell. It appeared that she had been in an vicious struggle with her attacker. Further investigation revealed that at the dormitory party, there was another teenager, 19-year-old Levi Collen who was interested in Berry. Investigators work this lead to find their suspect. In November 1996, Levi was convicted of first-degree murder, sexual assault and kidnapping. As a result, he was handed down three consecutive life sentences.
