This independent film, a slice-of-barrio- life that was shot and exhibited in South Texas. It is a compelling film about the dilemmas facing a young Chicano in the spring of 1972 amid the Chicano Movement.

The real story takes of Bruneri/Canella case (Italy 1926). A man is hospitalized in a neurological clinic suffering from amnesia. Mrs Ballerini, after had seen his picture complains he is her husband and brings him her home. They start living a regular life, even if the man still couldn't remember his past. When also Mrs Polacich recognizes him as her husband a process is set up. Italian audience is literally shared in two parties supporting one or the other family. Mrs. Ballerini will succeed anyway to come back together with her presumed husband and escape with him to Brazil. Years later also the Vatican will recognize their two children as 'legally conceived' under catholic laws.

A family in turmoil returns to the small town where David, the father, had grown up. Their return to the countryside takes them into the middle of generational abuse and Satanic practices only to find help in an unexpected way.

The body of a shop owner's wife is found beheaded in the basement and the shop owner is the suspect.

Oneness tells the tragic story of a boy named Ivan Martin who was killed by one of his family members because of his sexual orientation.
