Summary Dean goes to the train station with his brother to see him off but the pair are viciously attacked and his brother is very seriously injured. Roy teams up with Jaz to find the perpetrators but the men who they apprehend are not in fact the ones who committed the crime. While interviewing a man who has a stolen car radio in his home John allows his homophobic attitudes to get in the way which angers new recruit Karen,who also bats for the other side. She then loses her cool while trying to put troublesome youngster Pat Sharpe in the back of the police van and becomes emotional. A sympathetic Natalie embraces her but she then begins to wonder whether she is becoming attracted to her.
