The pinnacle of human civilization has come and gone, leaving only ruins in its wake. Society and science now struggle to rebuild, rediscovering scraps of knowledge from powerful ancient artifacts that defy comprehension. These relics of the "Old World" can make the fortunes of those who find them-if ancient security systems and rogue bioweapons don't kill the relic hunters first. Akira, a young street orphan, sets out to become one such hunter to escape his brutal life in the slums. Untrained, malnourished, and poorly armed, Akira would be lucky to make it back from the ruins alive-until an encounter with Alpha, a mysterious, ghostly woman, changes his fate forever. Alpha needs a hunter, and she's willing to train Akira to get one. Will her support be enough to help a penniless kid from the slums climb to the top of a crushing and merciless world?

Jing and his bird friend Kir are locked up in prison in Seventh Heaven, the worst prison there is. They try to steal the Dream Orb from Campari but also must escape their prison.

The story centers on the conflict against the Andromeda Country, the new enemy of humanity that seeks to destroy the source of the getter rays that has devastated its civilization. Hope rests on the titular Getter Robo Arc robot, but the appearance of another mysterious, piloted by Takuma Nagare, son of Ryoma Nagare, introduces another complication to the conflict.

Former soldier Shingo Hojo, French spy Remy Shimada, and Bronx gangster Killy Gagley aren't exactly your "hero of justice" types. They'd rather be flirting, bantering, and goofing off than battling evil. But when the malicious worldwide organization Docooga attempts to steal a new, powerful form of energy called Beamler, they'll take up arms to fight them - in the giant robot, GoShogun. Now pursued around the world in their teleporting carrier Good Thunder, GoShogun's piloting team must keep Docooga at bay while foiling their eccentric enforcers, righting wrongs they come across, and occasionally facing ghosts from their own tragic pasts. It's an unexpected combination of drama, satire, and giant robot action.
