Summary Wilsberg is fired in favor of two goons as security agent at Miss Munsterland pageant, for covering up the intrusion of his mate and former colleague Harry Jonas, who is murdered before he can properly explain his interest in mayor Peter Horstmar's competing daughter Rebecca. Wilsberg finds her car crashed a young woman who landed in a wheelchair, whose boyfriend hired Harry to find the culprit, but her car was reported stolen. Slutty Rebecca's electorally 'inacceptable' lover and 'agent' Moritz plays a puzzling part, courting rival competitor Margo and even her mother. Munster's mayor pressures commissioner Anna Springer to curb Wilsberg during his reelection campaign. Team Georg also looks into the rivals, notably Ekki dating jealous Rebecca and/or Margo, who seem ready to any dirty trick. Yet a vindictive motive spells a new crime at the miss election.
