Summary It is rare that such an innocent hobby as bird watching ends in death. For the unemployed amateur ornithologist Sam Birkner, this passion ends with an illegal waste disposal on the shore of Lake Constance. The police find him there and quickly find out that the man in his Canadian car had not only observed birds but also people.
