Summary Henri Forest is on trial for the murder of his partner, Lydia Perac. One of the jurors, Frédéric Reynal, 33, married, jeweller, tries to warn the President that the investigation neglected an important element. But a fire breaks out when Perac's sister testifies and Reynal is stabbed during the evacuation of the building. The SR takes the case, but Commandant Ghemara fears that they might have made a mistake two years ago when Perac was murdered. Capitaine Angeli takes it personally because Forest was found guilty thanks to the evidences she processed.
