Summary During the rehearsals of the ballet "Songe d'Ophélie", Julie Stern, first dancer, breaks her ankle and must be replaced by Karina Duroix, 24, and prima ballerina at the Opéra de Bordeaux. When Karina gets home, she finds an anonymous letter on her doormat, menacing her to death if she plays the part of Ophélie in the premiere, which takes place in two days. The morning after, she is found stabbed dead in her apartment.
