Summary While at Château of the Caussade's tourist visits guided by Hélène Delpech start, in the stables, Marc Souchon, stable boy, prepares Countess Anaïs de Caussade's horse for her daily ride. Marc says goodbye to her and her mother-in-law, Tatiana, since their internship in the house has finished. Later that morning, the countess herself finds his corpse in the château underbrush, by his motorcycle.
