Summary The Christmas season is not exactly contemplative for the Schwanitzer. When the ferry stops operating and the dike breaks in the neighboring village, the place is cut off from the outside world. Then a stranger shoots Santa Claus and the party is in complete danger. Leisure Santa Claus Martin has stood in for his buddy - was the fatal shot aimed at him? Does the man have to be protected? Or did he know they wanted to kill him - and killed two birds with one stone? In the winter hunt for the murderer, Hauke Jacobs, Hannah Wagner and veterinary assistant Jule prove to be a well-rehearsed team. The villagers have to get together and celebrate Christmas together. At the end Jule gets a big surprise, Blecki and Töteberg dance together with Ösker and Bine Pufal and the whole village. The perpetrator is convicted and - oh wonder - the Christmas skeptic Hauke Jacobs presents the children as Santa Claus.
