Summary After sending three teenagers home from a playground, responding to a complaint about drinking and noise, constable Timmermann recognizes the rebellious one, Simon Hofmeister, found next morning skull smashed against a stone in the nearest park. He never arrived home with his academic adoptive parents, literature professor Peer Hofmeister and piano teacher Kerstin, who describe him as perfect heir, but allegedly ignored Simon secretly wanted to follow neither's footsteps. Simon recently neglected school totally and started an apprenticeship with his biological father, stone mason Jürgen Bauer, where he got wounded in a mild accident. Simons school and band mates for years, Marek Seilinger and Violetta, didn't tell all about the playground night either.
