Summary Paramedic Gerd Runge drives off berserk in his ambulance when his pregnant daughter Lisa Schneider is found fatally wounded at her home, blaming her allegedly abusive husband Carsten Schneider who stalked her since she recently left him. While the police wonders about the baby's father, and finds Carsten has an alibi, Gerd shoots him. Lisa's employer Holger Martens made enemies by selling fake Chinese parts for his ailing firm's luxury yachts, including Lutz Ahlbeck who plans to charge Martens for his exploded motor, and two-timed his allegedly also pregnant secretary and lover Simone Konrad.
