Summary Hinzmann and Leena rush to the home of demented Heinz Kunow (82), whose revolver was used to fatally shoot in the heart his adult son Thomas, whom he seemed to mistake for a robber, ranting about 'my money'. The old man is unlikely to have shot so expertly, then fell asleep due to his daily medication. Ulrich Debler, whose firm manages his estate and privates home services for some 40 such seniors, engaging his wife Jutta and daughter from his first marriage Mareike Posch, claims Heinz Kunow was penniless, but Thomas's estranged fresh widow Sigrun Kunow claims he still had a small fortune from his days running a Mexican plantation, hence the son suddenly showed interest when the house was about to be sold. Hinzmann sympathizes with Heinz and senses the old man wants to tell him something, but Mareike's later confidence proves as good a clue.
