Summary Attorney Bremer, an insolvency specialist, dies chained to his office chair, mouth stuffed to slow asphyxiation with one such document. Prime suspect is naive client Jörn Ziegenhagen, whose file was stolen, seen leaving that day by the secretary. However his boss, Dr. Alfred Dallmann who runs similar offices from his Lübeck HQ, multiplies a perfidious system to profiteer from broke people's last dimes, actually compromising their legal shot at a single facial reboot. Both men had an eye on lawyer Meike Menzow, who defends their kind of prey, including Jörn and his lover Sabine Gendner. The murder actually happened in uncoordinated stages.
