The pearl breaks out of its setting and disappears. Where is Jerry supposed to get a replacement? Jerry and Beissl have different ideas. The case they are currently working on is quite tricky. Ranger Timo Roiss was pushed off a rocky outcrop and was already injured. His friend and superior Lena Breuniger is grieving, but admits that there was also an argument when Sophia finds a torn photo of the two of them in the trash. Timo accompanied Lena's brother, mountain hut owner Georg Geiser, on guided hikes. With his meticulous, quick-tempered manner, he made more than just friends, as Geiser's wife Andrea lets slip. So Jerry sets off on a dangerous climbing tour with a friend. He needs a rock crystal. Finally, Johanna surprises him in the area far too early.
