S1.E3 ∙ The Lawyers

Thirty-year-old Hana (Ivana Chylková) enters a life crisis. She discovers her husband Igor's (Jiri Bartoska) infidelity and her life, subordinated to her husband, is suddenly questioned.

Marie and Amy's long-term relationship, living in an isolated cottage, is fraying with both struggling to deal with the realities of being neurodivergent. With Marie chasing long-held dreams, Amy is close to giving up on hers.

The narrative begins with Santosh's arrival at a mysterious and puzzling place. Here, he meets Prakash and Ajay. It is a place where people arrive on their death. This place, it has no name and no person. It just allows one to wait. Could you wait before the unknown future? Santosh talks to Prakash and Ajay about the meaning and purpose of his being there. They are as clueless as himself. They too, like him, worry about what the future holds. Soon they are joined by Kaveri. And then Ajit, Madan, and Ismail. Each new arrival creates excitement. Yet the anxiety about the future continues. Together, they try to imagine what the future could hold. Their thoughts give an insight into their hopes and fears. Their past is reflected in their hopes for the future. The arrival of a pregnant woman, Savita shakes them more than any other. It forces them to confront the reality of their situation. Prakash realizes that what he misses most is not what wonderful things happened to him. Neither the pain of the past ache. He admits that what hurts the most are missed opportunities and unrealized experiences.

Nathan Holmes and his girlfriend Ashlee have the perfect life together - a storybook romance - but Nathan is a man possessed by intense and disturbing dreams. His psychiatrist, Dr. Cameron Graye, doesn't seem to be helping, and neither are Nathan's parents, who seem to be holding something back. As Nathan delves deeper into the unknown, he begins distancing himself from everyone, and as life continues to spiral out of control, the line between dreams and reality blurs and not even Nathan knows when he's awake or when he's dreaming.

Dr. Copin hypnotizes Joy Fielding, and she develops a split personality. She changes from an innocent, beautiful young lady into a cruel vamp, to the distress of her boyfriend.

A television station is held hostage as a distraught father tries to bargain with a Carribean government for the release of his imprisoned daughter.
