Summary Tom Bernardi, a young unemployed mechanic who lives with his grandmother, has escaped from a murder attempt: somebody shot against his car. When Leo Kress and his team arrives before the house where Tom lives, they meet a neighbor, the policeman Stefan Kanut and the grandmother.Some months ago Tom Bernardi went on holiday with Maria,the sister of Stefan Kanut, to Turkey and Maria decided to come back earlier : she took an airplane to Madrid where she was arrested for drug trafficking and sentenced to 8 years of prison.The grandmother explains Gerd that all the neighborhood wants to harm her grandson.Nobody has seen nothing and a neighbor is angry because Werner Riedmann is looking for the sockets in his garden.At the office Leo knows now that there were to shots , one from a pistol and the other from a rifle.
