Summary There is an industrial accident in the Bellmann company: when workers were moving containers of toxic products, two containers fell and broke.But immediately the workers recovered the products and begin to dig a hole to take off the contaminated soil.Mr. Franz Haffner, the proxy of the company speaks with the workers and says they will not give information about this accident.Then he calls Kurt Bellmann,the director of the company and he also calls a friend Arnold Lippert who arrives at the site and says what they have done is correct.Mr. Haffner meets the director who says him that the spoiled soil and the broken containers must disappear.Then at night a worker will drive a lorry with the contaminated ground and the broken containers to a factory of treatment of toxic wastes and he will give the key of the lorry to the warden: on the next a worker will recover the empty lorry.On the morning the corpse of Mr. Haffner has been found in the riverbed of the Isar River.
