Summary Brigitte Oswald has a relationship with her boss,the Dr. Körner.This night she was with him in her apartment.Suddenly the telephone rings: a desperate man wanted to call a help line in a monastery because he will commit suicide.Brigitte tries to speak with him, to dissuade him from the suicide.The Dr. Körner says Brigitte that this call is a joke,but Brigitte insists in listening to the man who said his name , Uwe,and killed himself.Brigitte goes to her neighbor's apartment for calling the police.The origin of the call has been identified and the police has to enter like thieves because all the doors are closed and they find the corpse of Uwe Scholz with a shot in the heart.Werner Riedmann has some doubts : the bullet is missing, the telephone has been cleaned. The spouse of Uwe, Effi Scholz-Grevenau, the mother-in-law Mrs Greveneau and the two sons Christian and Daniel Grevenau arrive: all are speaking about the depression of Uwe, that once he took too much sedative pills and alcohol together.The police finds the pistol who belongs to Christian Grevenau; the arm was hidden in a very visible place and Uwe knew the hiding place.
