Summary On a Sunday afternoon, Armin Dobling, floorwalker in a department store run by his friend Theo Kundler, gets a phone call and abruptly leaves his wife Inge to keep a mysterious appointment. Shortly afterwards, a man is seen from a helicopter running after another in a quarry and gunning down his victim. The plate of the yellow car on the spot is photographed by the woman in the helicopter and the number, M-TV 3504, reveals that the owner of the vehicle is none other than Armin Döbling. Has this honest everyman suddenly turned into a ruthless killer? And if so, why? It is up to chief police inspector Köster to find out...
