Summary Ganting's mayor Karl Schretzmayer hired PR-professional Lukas Beutner from Munich, who has a local apartment, as he atypically faces a rival for his reelection, but finds Beutner fatally skull-smashed in the town hall. Stockl was already there, as he pretended Achziger had agreed to 'lend her to him shortly' for his campaign. Schretzmayer tells Sven Hansen and Korbinian Hofer it must by his mayoral challenger, Diana Münzinger, spouse of brewer Thomas Münzinger , whose real estate project with inherited land he would never allow. Lukas Beutner may have blackmailed the Münzingers having found out the inheritance was dodgy. Christiane Haeberlein, Beutners free-lance PA, was his lover but recently resigned. Fresh widow Klara probably found out. Traces of dog hair, to which Beutner was allergic, but no canine steer Max to the asylum, leading to a crucial piece of evidence.
