Summary Holland in trouble. In the holiday park "The Paradise", which is almost exclusively inhabited and managed by Dutch people, the chip shop owner Jaap Mulders lies dead in a pool of "saté sauce". Initial investigations reveal that the mood among the bungalow park residents is rather tense. Lieke, the wife of the park operator van Uffelen, had an affair with the chip shop owner. However, it quickly emerges that Mulders wanted to put an end to the liaison. Was jealousy the motive? Sophie, Dietmar and Bärbel are "supported" in their investigations by Jos de Jong, a retired inspector from the island of Texel. Things are also getting tight for Sophie in her private life, however, because Kauth is apparently finding it increasingly difficult to cope with the new non-committal nature of their relationship. He decides to take the bull by the horns and puts pressure on Sophie by forcing her to make a decision. And that always backfires with Sophie. Bärbel decides against a relationship with Timo, who takes this quite calmly. And for Dietmar, the situation at home is becoming increasingly serious: Heike and Irmtraud constantly urge him to take sides in their respective differences of opinion.
