Summary The influential Zurich weapons manufacturer Gessler knows that he and his 18-year-old daughter Zoe are in constant danger. When someone breaks into the highly secured luxury villa, the schoolgirl flees to the panic room. The next morning, Gessler's bodyguard Lösch is found beaten to death in a hacker lounge. Now a difficult case begins for Captain Furrer. He is investigating the fatal hostage-taking of Gessler's son and the tragic death of his wife, in which the police had to admit a fatal misjudgment. Borchert and Dominique get involved in the current burglary and murder case as legal counsel for the suspected hacker Daniel, who wants to collapse a multi-million dollar arms deal. Borchert suspects that someone must have helped with the break-in and asks Zoe to trust him. In order to find out who wants to use the fugitive Daniel as a scapegoat, Borchert uncovers who exchanged money for what purpose.
