S2.E6 ∙ Season Two: Episode Six

Vicky is a young bartender living on her own. She meets Jake at work who is new in town and after only a short time has him move in with her. After a series of odd events takes place her close friends and neighbors become extremely suspicious that her new boyfriend Jake may have a dark past.

Miltos, a taxi driver, gets involved in illegal business while falling in love with Britt, a Swedish tourist.

Diligent American art student studying in Paris, Claire Martin suffers a blow to her head that transforms her into a woman of questionable morals. She then becomes involved with Scott Houghton, an unscrupulous artist who paints a suggestive portrait of her. When Houghton attempts to seduce Claire, she resists and in the struggle strikes her head and is restored to her former personality. Claire returns to America with no recollection of her lurid life, but when she meets Houghton at a party, he promises to illuminate her past. He lures Claire to his hotel room where his nephew stabs and kills him. The violence traumatizes Claire, who believes that she perpetrated the crime. When Houghton's nephew confesses, Claire is cleared of the crime and her seedy past and is free to marry her sweetheart Howard Kent.

Dexter Hawthorne is a private eye in a city. One day, Fletcher comes to Dexter and tells him that his brother is missing. Dexter will take the case if Fletcher gives him $50. Fletcher only give Dexter $30 and says he will get the rest once the his brother is found. Dexter begins the case and searches around the city. Then Dexter finds himself in an abandon warehouse with Fletcher talking to a man in silhouette. Dexter catches Fletcher. But then the man unexpectedly draws a gun and shoots Dexter. It cuts to black and we here screaming. Cooper is sitting on the floor with a bandage around his chest. Cooper sees a gun peeping out of the closet and ready to fire. Before Cooper reacts, the scene cuts to black.
