S3.E20 ∙ Dead Ringer

In the autumn of 1941 in the small Polish town of Trawniki was established SS training camp by the personal initiative of Heinrich Himmler. The cadets of this camp were, Soviet prisoners of war - exhausted, psychologically crushed, dying of hunger. Nazi recruiters offered them salvation in exchange for consent join the SS. After leaving school, they were placed as guards to death camps -Belzhets, Sobibor, Treblinka, Majdanek, Auschwitz. In addition, they 'sanitized' the Jewish ghettos in Lviv, Lublin, Warsaw, and in all the occupied territories. At what point did the human give way to the inhuman? How was their consciousness deformed?.. After the war, many managed to escape prosecution and to normal life, feeling safe. They tried to forget the past - but the past has not gone anywhere. They are remembered by the survivors. Nazi hunters looking for them around the world and have being them to Justice.

In 1941, on the Lithuania-East Prussia frontier, 3 German troops try to conceal that they have killed the daughter of their captain.The officer wants to shoot some Lithuanian women to avenge the murder.

A Russian family, the Turkeltaubs, emigrates to the US before the Communist revolution that overthrew the Czar. One of their twin sons, Schulke, disappears and is believed dead before they leave. After they settle into their new country, the family does well: the surviving twin, Nicholai, becomes a crusading District Attorney. One of the cases he is assigned to prosecute is that of small-time gangster Jacob Talinef, who has killed a former girlfriend of Nicholai's. Further investigation of the case, though, reveals a shocking secret.

A film that takes an in-depth look into the lives of the widows of the Sikh men who were killed in the anti-Sikh massacre of November, 1984. This was a government sponsored massacre in the World's largest Democracy, India. In the capital, New Delhi, in 3 days over 4,000 men were killed, over 1, 300 women widowed and over 4, 000 children were left fatherless. The film, directed by Harpreet Kaur, explores the suffering of these women, their battle for justice and their struggle for survival in India.
