Summary A young woman,Ruth Winter, has been suffocated with a pillow in her apartment.One of his lovers,Konrad Kelpe, has found her corpse and has phoned to Jacob Bienert,another lover, to have a meeting with him about the death of Ruth.Jacob arrives and also his son Hans ,who was waiting this morning for Ruth, they go the apartment and decided to call anonymously the police.Lona Winter, the sister of the victim ,studies in a boarding school and is shocked by the notice of the death of her sister.Lona travels to Munich with a Catholic father: this father explains Derrick that Ruth was paying the studies with the money she got from her activities of prostitution.Lona asks Derrick to be sincere with her,so Derrick says that the investigation will be delicate because her sister had clients of the good society.Lona asks then Derrick to give her a list of these lovers of her sister.
