S1.E1 ∙ The Pitch

Sivasubrahmania Hariramachandran is 32 year-old, simple but shy man who still hasn't got over a rejection from his childhood, and is an unhappy bachelor. Desperate to break away from an overbearing and spiritually inclined father, he escapes to another town along with his best friend Kumar. He falls in love with Saritha, their new neighbor, 14 years junior than him. Saritha also happens to be his boss's daughter's best friend, who also stays in the same building.

Happy Hours is a film about three silly adults fighting over friendship. A deluded woman concocts a crackpot self-help scheme, called The Hours Lifestyle Programme. A hopeless man tries to let go of his mother's ashes. She's desperate for companionship, he's just desperate. They embark on a misguided journey of self-discovery, until a deranged sociopath muscles in on her deception, and events spiral dangerously out of control.

Loosely based on The Wizard of Oz, THE WOMAN OF AHHS is the exhilaratingly unpredictable adventures of Jude Garland - a charming, lovelorn musician who is on a quest to find a mysterious woman whom he has merely glimpsed over the Internet. Light, dark, comedic, and dramatic, THE WOMAN OF AHHS is an insightful, and refreshingly original exploration of romantic love.

An outbreak of plague in London forces a gentleman, Lovewit, to flee temporarily to the country. He leaves his house under the sole charge of his butler, who uses the house as the headquarters for fraudulent acts.

The dynamic Munich noble lawyer Marc Bender, in his mid-30s, is looking forward to a picture-book career: Lisa, the attractive daughter of his boss, is waiting for him to marry her, and as a "dowry" Marc is to receive the partnership in the law firm of the wealthy father-in-law. In a good mood, the young couple packed their suitcases to take over the New York branch when Marc received his grandfather Justus from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania to cry for help. The controversial old innkeeper is in the hospital for four weeks, while Marc is supposed to continue running his village pub in Plau am See. Reluctantly, the 14-year-old who fled to the West returns to his provincial homeland for the first time - and initially suffers a culture shock. The grandfather's eatery turns out to be a sinister tavern where a handful of taciturn backwoodsmen frequent. Since the guests always write to and the shop accordingly makes no turnover, the brewery threatens to close. Now Marc's business ambition awakens: He modernizes the "Weltlaterne" in a post-modern style - but as a chic Micki host who serves Pollo instead of broiler, Marc scares off the last guests. The "wild east" did not wait for the snooty man from Munich. Only when Marc falls in love with the spirited Carmen - a single mother who occasionally throws dishes - does he learn to appreciate the rough charm of the locals. And thanks to a rather incidentally developed business idea - pub plus law firm. - The restaurant is also attracting unexpected visitors. When Lisa suddenly shows up, difficult decisions have to be made.

Ana, a girl who is about to get married, discovers in her boyfriend's house a photograph in which her mother, dead at birth, and her future father-in-law appear in a very affectionate way.
